After a £70million refurbishment of the legendary Don Miguel hotel Club Med will open Marbella’s newest luxury resort aimed at offering families the ultimate in luxury in a stunning location.

A stone’s throw from Marbella’s picturesque old town, Club Med Magna Marbella is a stunning building with planted structural elements, in the middle of twelve hectares of terraced gardens. At the southernmost tip of the Iberian peninsula, it’s the ideal starting point for discovering the rich cultural and natural heritage of Andalusia. Take the roads dotted with whitewashed villages and gaze at olive trees as far as the eye can see on the way to Seville, or visit Grenada to see the iconic Alhambra.

In the highest reaches of Marbella, on the side of the Sierra Blanca mountains, you’ll find this exclusive Resort. Discover this Andalusian oasis and its sea views. There are few places where the Mediterranean looks more stunning than here. The rooms are all in the same helix-shaped building. With 10 storeys, it offers spectacular views of the sea, mountains and city.

With the benefit of over 40 years’ Club Med experience behind it, the Resort offers innovative clubs for children and teenagers. Dedicated areas specifically designed for their needs, and equipment designed with a view to comfort and safety. Fully qualified and professional childcare staff. Numerous activities for all ages: sport, creative activities and games for the different age groups. Opening hours that allow parents to make the most of their stay, and respect the children’s desires and sleeping patterns. The children’s clubs are open all week, except on Saturday. Kids clubs from 4 years are free to all guests. there will be a charge for nursery/creche.

Activities

As with all Club Med resorts you can expect a wide range of included activities and sports. there is the tennis and paddle tennis courts and academies, fitness school, archery school and even a trapeze school. Access to the courts and the gym are free and group coaching is also included for all the activities as part of your holiday cost. there is also a basketball court, beach volleyball and a mini football pitch.

Younger guests will love the family waterpark, while parents and couples can relax in our stylish zen zone with an adult’s only pool and bar next to our tranquil meditation and yoga gardens.

Spa facilities

The best treatments and massage techniques from around the world can be found at the luxurious CINQ MONDES spa. A space of serenity with 14 polyvalent treatments rooms including one duo room, one relaxation room (indoor and outdoor), one hammam exclusive for spa users and one private hair salon.

there are two fabulous restaurants and two cool bars at the hotel.

Main restaurant – With a view of the sea from the terrace or air-conditioned dining rooms, choose from an international buffet or discover local delicacies and watch the chefs prepare gourmet dishes in front of you.
