It can be hard finding a great hotel with baby care facilities, without compromising on luxury and service. Here are our favourite 5 star hotels in Europe, with on site crèche facilities.

Levante BeachResort, Rhodes

We had to include Mark Warner’s flagship luxury resort, offering parents the benefit of the UK tour operators award winning childcare. Fully qualified British nannies will take care of your precious little ones, while you soak up the sun, sipping cocktails by the pool or strolling along the stunning beach. You may prefer to make use of the extensive sports facilities including tennis academy courses at the tennis centre,  windsurf and sailing schools, scuba diving, mountain biking and a varied fitness program, all included in the holiday cost.

Creche is available from 4 months to 2 years. There is a strict ratio of 2 children to one nanny at all times. You can choose mornings or afternoons or full days – fees do apply. From 3 years old, children can join kids clubs free of charge.

Andriake Beachclub, Demre

Another UK operator, this time Neilson. This is a brand new resort for 2014 and is Neilsons premier 5star family holiday experience. As you would expect from Neilson, the hotel boasts an impressive array of sports facilities, including a tennis academy, windsurf and sailing academies, waterskiing, mountain biking, kayaking and a ful l fitness program. If you prefer to relax, there is an Olympic size pool and full service spa, all set on an amazing beach.

The Neilson run starfish club, caters for children aged 4-23 months.. Looked after by a team of nannies who work to a ratio of one nanny to two babies. The club operates a drop in drop out policy and parents are free to call by at any time. The hotel has a range of rooms available, with lots of interconnecting and also suites with separate bedroom. All are baby friendly.

Annasa, Cyprus

This is a fabulous luxury hotel and a member of the ‘leading hotels of the World’. Arguably  one of the most beautiful hotels in the Mediterranean which offers 5 star luxury, in a stunning setting, with the charm of a traditional Cypriot village. The hotel boasts luxurious rooms and suites and a lots of facilities including  four swimming pools, squash and tennis, a Padi scuba centre and various dining and drinking options. The jewel in crown of the Anassa is the stunning Thalassa spa, where you can relax in the Roman style pool, or experience the unique, holistic style treatments on offer.

The experienced nannies in the Globetrotter crèche will take good care of your  baby from 9.30-5.30, 6days a week. The crèche is open from April until November for 30euro half day / 60euro full day.

Forte Village – Castello Hotel, Sardinia

The Castello has an exclusive and private feel, which you would expect , as this is the most prestigious part of the Luxurious Forte Village. Set in a stunning location, amidst a pine forest on a white sand beach, the resort consists of seven luxurious hotels, all with their own character and feel but all offering exceptional service and luxurious accommodations.  This extensive resort offers a huge number of dining options, with a one star michelin star restaurant . and lots of sports and activities to keep children and parents busy. Forte Village in renowned for its sports academies and has even hosted the England squad for a training camp.

Forte Village is a paradise for children, with ‘Childrens City’ a dedicated area of the resort for kids. There is even a kids only restaurant, no adults allowed. The crèche is open daily to children up to three. There is a daily charge. Babysitting is also available on request.

Vila Vita, Algarve

One of Portugal’s best hotels. Built in a beautiful Moorish style, surrounded by lovely gardens in a picturesque location, bordered by two sandy coves.  Vila Vita is a member of the ‘leading hotels of the World’ and offers guest exceptional service. Unique to the hotel, it has its own organic farm, where it produces much of the meat and produce used in its eight restaurants, one of which boasts two Michelin stars.

Natalie’s crèche is open all year round from ten to six. Five days a week in Low seasons and every day in high season. The great thing is you can pay by the hour, if you don’t want to pay for the whole day.

Stoke Park, UK

We didn’t think the list would be complete without offering an option in the UK. If you are looking for a luxury weekend away close to home, you cant go far wrong with the luxury and tradition offered by Stoke Park. This majestic  historical hotel, sitting in 300 acres of stunning parkland is one of Europe’s most luxurious country hotels and has recently been awarded AA’s highest accolade – 5AA Red Stars.

With your child safely enjoying the excellent crèche, with experienced and qualified nannies, you can take advantage of the hotels extensive facilities, including 27 hole championship golf club,  tennis centre, state of the art gym and fitness centre and comprehensive spa facilities. All this just 35 minutes from London

Ski – Valmorel chalets by Club Med

If you are looking to takes the kids to the slopes this upcoming season, we recommend Club Meds most luxurious ski offering. A beautiful selection of luxurious  2 to 4-bedroom Chalet-Apartments in a fantastic ski in-out location in pictureaque Valmorel, where you will find 165kms of tree lined pistes for all levels.
