A fantastic great value family resort on the Algarve

If you are looking for a family holiday with comfortable and spacious accommodations, combined with all the facilities and service you would expect from a top quality resort, the Rocha Brava may be the ideal choice for you. This is a great option for larger families.

The resort is set in 23 hectacres of gardens just 3km from the centre of Carvoeiro and close to some of the best beaches on the Algarve, with championship golf courses on the doorstep. There are a range of accommodations at the resort, although we love the detatched villas with private pools that offer a perfect option for families.

Activities..

If you venture out from your lovely villa, the resort offers three swimming pools, one of them covered plus four tennis courts, with regular tournaments and coaching from the resident tennis pro. There is also a gym with regular fitness classes as well as a beauty centre offering a range of treatments and massage. Reception can prebook any golf tee times for you at one of the many nearby courses where you may get discounts as guests of the resort.

For the kids..

Kids will enjoy the playground and from the end of April until October there is an onsite kids club for 4-10 year olds, where your little ones can enjoy games and acivites in a safe and supervised environment. Qualified staff will look after your kids at the club which is open 9am until 5pm 5 days a week.

 Eating & drinking

If you don’t want to eat in your villas you can try out the ‘O Farol’ restuarant with views ove the swimming pool, serving up local and international dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is also a pool bar where you can enjoy a cocktail or two. The coffe shop serves snacks, ice creams and full English breakfast and the Bar Rocha Brava has karaoke, sports on tv and live music.
